The Current Need
Back and neck pain stand among the leading causes of disability worldwide and are often associated with a poor health-related quality of life. While many patients benefit from conservative treatment, some require surgical intervention, and variability in surgical outcomes remains a significant challenge. NSF needs funding to delve deeper into the factors influencing recovery outcomes and to improve the safety, effectiveness, and personalisation of spine treatments.

By analysing outcomes via our clinical SPINE Registry, we aim to refine patient selection, tailor interventions, reduce complications, and elevate overall treatment standards, benchmarking against evidence-based best practices.
Our data is elevating overall treatment standards with positive return to work statistics and reducing overall industry burdens with workers compensation claims.
Our Future
Building on this momentum, NSF plans to:

- Scale translational research exploring genetics, imaging, and non-invasive diagnostics toward clinical application.
